It’s been a few weeks since mom and I have made our way over to Eva’s Yarn Shop. (Mom’s cheated a few times and has gone without me, but I forgive her!) After a particularly stressful week, last Friday I decided that I would not allow another weekend to go by without adding to my stash.
After 1.5 hours on Saturday afternoon (and that’s only because the store closed at 4:00 p.m. and we were unable to get there until 2:30 p.m., otherwise I’m confident we still could be there) of walking down, around, in and out of every nook and cranny we finally made our purchases. And by purchases, I mean I bought every color of Ewe Ewe Wooly Worsted Eva currently carries.
A few weeks ago I purchased the Rainbows and Unicorns pattern from Ravelry and have been anxious to begin. While the pattern calls for 20 colors, I’m going to modify and repeat some colors (or so that is the plan, we’ll see how well I actually manage this modification while still following the pattern…I’m hopefully optimistic!).
I have yet to actually put the yarn on my needles, but if the weather continues with the cold and snow as predicted, I should have plenty of time to get started in the upcoming days !
